
Andre is picking up some bikes that he is borrowing for us, so I think our nightly walks will be replaced with nightly bike rides. I found this nifty tool that tells me that if I walk for 1 hour at a brisk pace, I will burn 337 calories vs. biking at 10-12 MPH (light, according to the tool), where I will burn 532 calories.
We will also bike to the grocery store and farmers market, I am sure.
I have mentioned before how bike friendly Europe is. Most sidewalks here in Wolfsburg have bike lanes, and there are bike racks everywhere, so you always have a place to park it.

I can't wait to get home! I will never miss a meeting again! I go to weigh in every week but don't stay for the meetings (My German is too bad) and boy... I never realized just how much I get from them.
We are having a great time. Sometimes I get home sick but then I just try to tell myself that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and don't waste it!
